Presentations and Pitches

CWC offers two types of presentation training.
The first draws on Carl's experience of performing and directing for the stage and comedy circuit (way back, Carl managed to gain an equity card for his performances with his own alternative comedy company.)
By working with clients on their presentational style and content, Carl has helped managers and people generally nervous about performing in public to get their message across while projecting something of themselves.
Carl has also helped clients to write the presentations or tender documents to give them confidence that they are using the right terminology with specific client groups.
Carl says: "Presenting is not about having the slickest high-tech Powerpoint at your fingertips, it's about starting from who you are and connecting with your audience. That means there is no one style that suits all so I work with people to make meaningful connections and lasting impressions."
The second presentation training Carl offers is how to pitch to new clients. He has successfully helped companies with their approaches to clients and trained their staff in how to deliver a successful pitch.
He says: "One marketing company that I work with in the City of London send me their new recruits before they're sent out to pitch to clients. The first thing that I do is to get them to put down their heavily written scripts, look the client in the eye and tell their story with passion and conviction. It works because it's about finding an authentic voice that prospective clients can start to believe in."
